I'm Lauren, CPA & former corporate tax manager turned professional coach. 

For most of my career, I was that person—always the top performer, always the one everyone wanted on their team. I was promoted every two years in public accounting, and even had a new leadership role created for me after a few years in Industry. On the surface, it looked like I had it all figured out. But in reality, I believed that my success came from my perfectionism and relentless work ethic. I worked an extreme number of hours, thinking that was the key to exceeding expectations and advancing in my career.

What I eventually learned is that what it takes to be successful changes as you move through your career. The skills and habits that got me to one level didn’t necessarily help me at the next. But instead of adjusting, I kept working harder, not smarter. While I was rewarded financially and with promotions, it took a toll on my life and my career. The constant pressure, the hours, and the need to be perfect—it was exhausting.

It wasn’t until I experienced coaching that I realized I needed to approach work differently. Success doesn’t have to come at the expense of your well-being, and working harder usually isn’t the answer. Now, I help others figure out how to perform at their best—without burning out. I guide my clients to develop the right skills, strategies, and mindset for success at every level of their careers.
